Sorrel Drink for The Holiday


Recipe

1lb sorrel

3 litres hot water

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 lb. root ginger

4ozs.lime juice or lemon

1doz. cloves

1doz. pimento

1/2 cup red label wine [optional]

6oz. appleton rum[optional]

Method: Bring water to a boil pour over sorrel add all ingredients combine, allow

to steep for 12-24 hrs. blend, strain, and chill. garnish and serve.
